Keyboard Latency When Using Virtual ViewX

Some customers may experience keyboard input latency when using Virtual ViewX while typing data into script generated text boxes.

This issue does not happen when typing in other dialog boxes, like the standard box generated by the "Control" method pick action or entering alarm filters, for example.

Currently the workaround is to add a file called "Thinfinity.params.ini" to the "C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\VirtualViewX\bin32" folder of the Virtual ViewX folder. The file must contain the following:

[Options]
UseTimerService=0

Once the file is in place and the Virtual ViewX Server is restarted, the issue should be resolved.

Note: The workaround above was tested on Geo SCADA 2023 Build 86.9210.1 and newer. If using an older version, please first upgrade to 86.9210.1 or newer.
