Delete the ION meter's tree file to resolve the issue. To do this do the following:
 1) Stop all ION Services (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services)
 2) Navigate to the ...\ION Enterprise\config\trees directory
 3) Delete the file with the meter name that is experiencing the issue
 4) Start all ION Services
