Biography

Melton Chang is the Executive Vice President for the Power Systems Division. In this role, he has full global P&L responsibility for Schneider Electric’s Power Systems Division which includes: low-voltage equipment (IEC & NEMA); medium-voltage systems, product switchboards, equipment, transformers and substations; industrial power systems; services; EcoStruxure Power (the group’s IoT-enabled, open, and interoperable architecture); project execution and services operations. Melton’s scope also includes responsibility for the engineered-to-order manufacturing facilities, R&D, market development and go-to-market, strategy, and offer quality. Melton leads a global team of more than 13,000 employees.

Melton most recently served as SVP, Medium Voltage offers at Schneider Electric. In this role as global LoB leader, he led 1,000+ employees and was responsible for the overall R&D, quality assurance, marketing, global multi-hub business strategy, and led the organizational transformation to enable agile development.

Melton joined Schneider Electric in 2007 and has held roles in North America, Taiwan, Shanghai, and France. He has extensive experience in driving organizational and strategic development, connecting the dots between R&D and marketing to drive profitable growth for the business. Melton is passionate about embracing change, staying curious, and surrounding himself with the best talents.
