Barbara leads Schneider Electric’s global Industrial Automation Business and has served on the company’s Executive Committee since 2019.
Barbara joined Schneider Electric in 2016 as Country President of Germany, and expanded her scope to Zone President of DACH in 2017 (including Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In 2019, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Europe Operations and a member of the Executive Committee.
Barbara started her career as a development project manager for motors and drives at ABB Schweiz AG. She held various senior management positions in the ABB Group, including regional responsibility as Country Manager Czech Republic, Regional Manager for the Mediterranean in Italy, and leadership of the worldwide drives business.
Barbara holds a PhD in Electrical Machines from ETH Zurich, and an MBA from IMD Lausanne.
Jean-Pascal Tricoire is the Chairman of Schneider Electric. He previously served as COO of Schneider from 2003, CEO from 2006 to 2013, and Chairman and CEO from 2013 to 2023. Under Jean-Pascal’s leadership, Schneider has transformed and become a technology company leading in software, sustainability, digitization, and electrification. As CEO, he redefined the company’s purpose and technology portfolio, quadrupling Schneider’s revenues across its balanced geographical footprint.
Jean-Pascal joined Schneider Electric in 1986 and held various positions across France, Italy, China, South Africa, the United States and Hong Kong. In 2001, he first joined the company’s Executive Committee to take charge of Schneider’s international division.
Jean-Pascal also serves as an independent director on the board of Qualcomm. He is a director of the worldwide board of the United Nations Global Compact, a United Nations #HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion and a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum as well as the Asia Business Council. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Northeastern University.
Jean-Pascal is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Singapore Economic Development Board and a member of the advisory councils of Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He led the France-China Business Council from 2009 to 2019. He is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and an Officer of the National Order of Merit in France.

Executive Vice President, Energy Management Business
As Executive Vice President of Schneider Electric’s Energy Management business, Olivier is responsible for the entire Energy Management portfolio of world-leading technologies, software and services. Olivier is an active promoter of Sustainability and “Electricity 4.0” the fastest route to a net zero world that is more electric and more digital.
Olivier has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2014. In his previous role as Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer, Olivier led the development of Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Sustainability and Quality. Prior to that, Olivier led Schneider’s People Strategy as Chief Human Resources Officer between 2014 and 2020.
Olivier began his career at Schneider Electric in 1993 in his home country of France. He has been living and working in Asia for the last two decades, where he has held leadership positions as the Regional Head of Strategy for China and the Regional Managing Director for India, before taking on the global role of Executive Vice President for the Home & Distribution Division based in Hong Kong.
Olivier has been a Non-Executive Director on both AVEVA Group PLC (as Remuneration Committee member) and Delta Dore Boards since 2020.
In 2019, Olivier received France’s Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year Award from Cadremploi, Morgan Phillips Hudson, Le Figaro Décideurs and Fyte, in recognition of how he transformed Schneider’s leadership and culture at a global scale. In 2021, his sustainability efforts across the Company saw Schneider Electric recognized by Corporate Knights as the World’s Most Sustainable Corporation.
Olivier graduated from Grenoble Business School (GEM), France.
