Chris Leong is a driven leader with extensive experience across continents and disciplines, including organization and digital transformation, business strategies, sales and marketing, across B2C and B2B industries.
Chris started with Schneider Electric in January 2012 and in March 2015, she was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, part of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee Leadership Team. She is responsible for making marketing a competitive advantage for the company – building a strong purpose-led brand and leveraging digital to increase customer intimacy and drive business growth. Prior to her appointment as CMO, Chris served as the Executive Vice President of Digital Customer Experience, leading a key company transformation in digitization to deliver a more effective and engaging customer experience.
Previously, Chris led Nokia's Greater China, Korea & Japan region, a US$8b P&L operation. During her six-and-a-half-year tenure at Nokia, Chris also held various global roles including Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, where she was responsible for Nokia's Go-To-Market, brand and marketing with US$1b investment across 80 markets.
Prior to joining Nokia, Chris held various senior management roles in marketing communications firms, including WPP agencies Bates Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore), Ogilvy Europe (London, UK), and Grey Global Group (Singapore and Malaysia) working with global brand leaders such as P&G, Ford, HSBC, Heineken and various telecommunication brands.
Chris is passionate about ESG-based principles and is a firm believer that purpose-led enterprises are the foundation for a sustainable and equitable future for our businesses, customers, employees, communities and the environment. She is an advocate of UNSDG which serves as our collective guide towards progress and sustainability for all.
During her free time, she believes in giving back, passionate about working with charity groups focusing on efforts to support underprivileged children in our community.
Chris speaks four languages; English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay.
Jean-Pascal Tricoire is the Chairman of Schneider Electric. He previously served as COO of Schneider from 2003, CEO from 2006 to 2013, and Chairman and CEO from 2013 to 2023. Under Jean-Pascal’s leadership, Schneider has transformed and become a technology company leading in software, sustainability, digitization, and electrification. As CEO, he redefined the company’s purpose and technology portfolio, quadrupling Schneider’s revenues across its balanced geographical footprint.
Jean-Pascal joined Schneider Electric in 1986 and held various positions across France, Italy, China, South Africa, the United States and Hong Kong. In 2001, he first joined the company’s Executive Committee to take charge of Schneider’s international division.
Jean-Pascal also serves as an independent director on the board of Qualcomm. He is a director of the worldwide board of the United Nations Global Compact, a United Nations #HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion and a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum as well as the Asia Business Council. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Northeastern University.
Jean-Pascal is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Singapore Economic Development Board and a member of the advisory councils of Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He led the France-China Business Council from 2009 to 2019. He is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and an Officer of the National Order of Merit in France.

Peter Herweck is Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. Peter became Schneider’s chief executive in May 2023, returning to take the helm of the company after having served as CEO of the industrial software group AVEVA since May 2021.
Peter first joined Schneider Electric in 2016 when he was appointed to the Executive Committee to lead the Industrial Automation business. In 2018, he undertook the merger of Schneider’s Industrial Software business with AVEVA.
After starting his career as a Software Development Engineer with Mitsubishi in Japan, Peter joined Siemens where he held various executive positions before becoming Chief Strategy Officer. Peter’s background also includes senior management in the US, Japan, China, and several European countries, as well as extensive global responsibilities.
Peter holds an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business, and Electrical Engineering degrees from Metz University, France and Saarland University, Germany. He is also a Harvard Business School Advanced Management alumnus.
