Product Line
Magelis HMIGTO, Magelis HMIGTU

Environment
HMI Storage Media

Resolution
The official Schneider Electric validated SD (Secure Digital) card for the Secondary Drive slot (for Data logging, Alarm & Event logging and Media) of the HMIGTO and HMIGTU series has the part number HMIZSD4G.
For the SD Card for the Secondary Drive slot, it must be formatted in FAT32.

The 1GB SD card for the system drive (Main Drive) in the HMIG3U, HMIG5U, and HMIG5U2 has the part number HMIZSD1GS.The file format of the drive is not FAT32 when used with the HMIGTU, but proprietary to the device. To recover the system image on this HMIZSD1GS, please refer to the FAQ on the Backup and Recovery Tool .

Note:
The HMIG2U is similar to the HMIGTO series in that the system drive (Main Drive) is embedded memory and not an SD card.
