Goals and Symptoms

When installing the default Report Packs (via either command line (RESL198324) or using the RS2008WRConfigurationWizard (RESL203767)), the installation fails and throws the following error:

Causes and Fixes

This error is caused because the ION_Network database is not at the correct version. The ION_Network database was likely copied from a 6.0 system to that of a 6.0 SP1 system, and never upgraded. To find out the version of the database, please reference RESL183683. The database version of any of the ION databases can be found by opening the dbo.Registry table for that database and looking for the Revision row:





Upgrade the ION_Network database to the correct version by using the Database Manager (located in the Management Console). After the upgrade, re-install the Report Packs either via command line or by using the RS2008WRConfigurationWizard.
