Yes, the M221 does have a start in run feature. A video demonstration can be found below using SoMachine Basic 1.6 SP2 current software as of August 2018.

The off line mode you can do the following;

Select the Programming tab

From the Programming tab select Tasks

Under the Tasks tab select Behavior

At the bottom of the page you will see "Starting Mode"

From there you have 4 options
1 Start in Previous state
2 Start in Stop
3 Start in Run
4 Unconditional Start in Run
