What can cause an CFF fault  on the ATV12 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar ATV12


Drive is powering up with an CFF fault and will not clear.

CFF= incorrect configuration fault.

Possible causes:
-HMI block replaced by and HMI block configuration on a drive with a different HP ratings.
-The current parameter of the customers parameter is inconsistent.

Remedy:  Try resetting the drive back to a factory default by going into the
ConF  menu enter
FCS menu enter
change FCS menu to InI and hold for 2 seconds.
Now power cycle the drive.
If the fault clears now try and reprogram the drive.  If you are still getting the CFF fault you will need to replace the drive.
