How to replace EPROM in all types of T200?
The following procedure of EPROM replacement is applicable only for T200.

Switch off the AC supply

(Outside the equipment or on the safety fuse block within the enclosure)



Disconnect the supply to the battery circuit

(Unplug the battery connector under the rack)




All the LEDs on the front panel of the rack should be turned off now.

The Easergy T200 enclosure is now powered down




Now open the control panel screws



Gently pull the control panel card



Now we need to disconnect Control panel from CPU card.




Disconnect the ribbon cable from the rear of the front panel by separating the two levers on each side of the connector base.
Pull this connector carefully

Remove T200 control panel



Remove the Control card (CPU card) from T200. You may need to pull it harder.




Place the card on proper non-conductive surface.


EPROM to be replaced.



Remember the EPROM position according to the notch. It must be respected.



Use screwdriver or IC extractor to remove the EPROM from the board.
In case of screwdriver apply it on both the side equally and slowly remove the EPROM

Place the new EPROM, according to notch position in the socket.
Do it very carefully. No pin should bend.



All pin must aligned and kept in position before pressing the EPROM in socket



Insert the control panel back in to T200 socket.
Make sure it is placed correctly in the slot.


Attach the end of the ribbon cable from T200 CPU card to the connector on the control panel.



And Screw the control panel firmly into position



A “Test” pushbutton is used to trigger simultaneous testing of all the control panel indicator lamps and at the same time testing of fault detection acquisition systems.


Power up the enclosure



So long as the "Test" button is held down, all the CONTROL panel indicator lamps remain lit. This allows indicator lamp operation to be checked.


The “Reset” pushbutton is used to erase stored fault currents.
