Issue
Does Schneider Electric have a skeleton key password to reset an application running on a Magelis or Harmony family HMI?

Product Line
Magelis / Harmony HMI (all models)

Environment
Physical touchscreen panel

Resolution
No, Schneider Electric does not have a skeleton key password to gain access to user applications running on Magelis / Harmony family HMI's. If you forget the password to login to your HMI, you will need to contact the original programmer to either inform you of the password or reset it for you by redownloading the entire application. Schneider Electric does not maintain the user application passwords that are installed on the HMIs. It is recommended that the Original Equipment Manufacturer or System Integrator and the End-User agree upon a password storage policy as required for future maintenance of the system.
