Resolution:
The ATV320 series drive has a separate menu for synchronous motors and asynchronous motors.
For Synchronous motors, navigate from RDY -> CONF -> Full -> DRC-  -> SYN- .  Motor nameplate information can be entered here.
For Asynchronous motors, navigate from RDY -> CONF -> Full -> DRC- -> ASY- .
