A connection area on Linergy busbars may be reused as long as the contact surface is not damaged or too much oxidized. It shouldn't be so in the context of a standard use, in optimal environmental conditions and respecting the tightening torques given in the instructions.
In case the color has turned to brown due to the presence of dust or very thin natural corrosion, it's possible to revive it with a fine to very fine abrasive sandpaper made of aluminum oxide with a number of grits between 120 to 280.
The examination of the contact surface, decision of reuse of the busbar and assurance of a correct new connection is the responsibility of the installer.
