The incorrect response was returned.

Solution:
PowerChute Serial Shutdown has been released to replace PowerChute Personal Edition. Below is a link to the download page. We recommend users uninstall PowerChute Personal Edition and install PowerChute Serial Shutdown.

NOTE:
PowerChute Personal Editon has been discontinued.

With a Back-UPS PowerChute, Serial Shutdown will communicate via USB (Universal Serial Bus).

The most up-to-date version of PowerChute Personal Edition is 3.1. If you are currently running PowerChute Personal Edition 3.1, uninstall it and install PowerChute Serial Shutdown, or disregard the message.
