What causes the Front Panel event 'Current display value out of range. Reducing scaling.' to appear in ION9000 meter Event log?

Issue

Meter's event event log contains the event "Current display value out of range. Reducing scaling" like the image show below.
Current display value out of range. Reducing scaling

Products
ION9000

Cause
Display Options Module in ION9000 meter controls the attributes of a front panel display. When display units setting is selected as default, the meter will determine units for the display based on CT primary, PT primary or both. When display units are set to a fixed unit, meter will display measurements with desired units when possible. When the meter is measuring a value that is too small to display with either default or specific display unit, he message 'Current display value out of range. Reducing scaling.' will appear in Event log.

Resolution

Measurement units on the meter display and webpages automatically scale, depending on the value of PT Primary and CT Primary.
Auto scaling

In Display Option Module, for example if Current unit has the default scaling as kA with current resolution of 1.XXX, then if the current value dropped low enough such that the reading is less than 1A, the display by default would show 0.000 kA, however meter has some current and will change the units for the display to show 0.XXX A.

Display Option Module-Current Units

When very small measurements values, with a default kA or MA scaling resulting in 0.000, the Front Panel event 'Current display value out of range. Reducing scaling.' appears in meter's Event log. Custom units and resolution settings are automatically adjusted for current and voltage values to help prevent the display from showing incorrect zero values.
