ConneXium DRS Predefined Switch configuration profiles C17 and C18
Issue
ConneXium DRS (Dual Ring Switch) configuration C17 and C18 are new predefined configuration profile for Ethernet RIO, made available in September 2020.

Configuration Filenames:
C17_Master_RIOMainRingFx_RIOSubRingTx_DIOCloudsV1.4.cfg
C18_Slave_RIOMainRingFx_RIOSubRingTx_DIOCloudsV1.4.cfg

Although similar to the C11 and C12 DRS predefined configuration profiles, the C17 and C18 configuration profiles use Fiber port# 1 for the Main Ring and Fiber port# 2 for the first of two redundant ring connections between the two switches. Port# 5 copper wire connection is still used to connect all the drops of the sub-ring between the two switches as before. But port# 6 copper wire connection goes to two NRP module located at the first two drops as the second redundant ring connection between the two switches to span the extended distance. All other ports remain the same.
