Biography

Manish Kumar is the Executive Vice President of Schneider Electric’s Digital Energy business, where he leads global efforts to drive transformational growth and innovation. His mission: to help customers digitize and decarbonize their operations for a more sustainable future.

With nearly two decades of leadership at Schneider Electric, Manish brings a unique blend of strategic vision, technological expertise, M&A experience, and global perspective. His career spans pivotal roles in Corporate Strategy, Smart Buildings, Electrical Distribution Digitization, Data Centers, Solar Inverters, and Microgrids—each contributing to Schneider Electric’s evolution as a leader in energy management.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Manish held roles as a Software Engineer and Business Consultant at Infosys, where he supported clients in the Technology, Consumer Electronics, and Insurance sectors with their digital transformations.

Manish holds advanced management degrees from Harvard Business School and HEC Paris, along with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Thapar University. He has served on the Supervisory Board of Planon since 2023 and was appointed Chairman in 2025.
