Job Description

We are looking for Digital Power Technical Trainer within the Global Field Services training department, reporting to the Regional Training Center Manager MEA.

 

The position will be located in Abu Dhabi UAE, but have international travel to support EUR, MEA & APAC zones. Your role will be to deliver training and update technical trainings for Service Representatives, Partners, Subcontractors and End Users in MEA and globally. In addition, you will be Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for teaching methods covering; Training course design, course implementation, Lab activity design and course update globally.

 

Responsibilities :

 

1. Conduct technical trainings attended and in Remote for Digital Energy, PME, EPO, Also Training On EcoStruxure for Secure Power and Power Services internal and external trainees on the following scope:(but not limited to)

  • EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert (PME) and connected devices such as Power Meters & Gateways,
  • EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO),
  • Ecofit Life Extension Essential for Power,
  • Power quality
  • MiCOM, SEPAM, Easergy ranges

2. Make sure that safety rules, quality, best practices and safety conditions are met during each training session.

3. Support other trainers to grow in digital services competency and ensure other trainers are updated.

4. Be responsible for classrooms / training labs and maintain electrical equipment & software.

5. Work closely with Offer Line of Business, Digital Power Academy, technical management and technical support to be connected to the latest technical evolution to ensure the training center is “future ready” for the digital evolution of field services.

 

6. Designing of training courses:

  • Working closely with Digital Power Training Academy and Product / Service LoB to ensure training is providing suitable solutions to support engineers of the future for field services. Manage engineering instructions, teaching methods, course creation, necessary equipment’s to launch new training courses for Connected offers, EcoStruxure software solutions.
  • Be responsible of updating course content and ensure the knowledge and information transferred to the other trainers in MEA and Globally.
  • Contribute to the creation and update of training paths, Digital training content, eLearning & tutorial creation.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally educated to engineer level in electrical or electronics. Will have validated expertise on SCADA technologies, IT/OT Systems, Cybersecurity.
  • Experienced with IoT, networking and software solutions.
  • Have a good understanding of Schneider Software and EcoStruxure offers and solution
  • Autonomous, you demonstrate abilities of analysis and pragmatism
  • You have good relationships, a good level of oral communication and enjoy international contacts
  • You are flexible and have a good sense of customer service.
  • You are comfortable in French (Advantage) and English (Mandatory) both oral and written.
  • Knowledge on IT and networks are mandatory
  • International travel to be expected (Potentially one journey per month)
