Position Title: Deputy Manager- Procurement

 

Education: Diploma (Engineering) (Mechanical/ Electrical)

 

Experience: 3-5 years

 

Work Location: Vadodara

 

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

  • Responsible for Planning and Procurement of material to support the Production as per schedule, with Right Quality & Right Quantity.
  • Experience and hands on knowledge in SAP. He/she should have overall understanding of production planning , production order BOM and material accounting. Copper components purchase will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of DWM, QC tools,  TQM / TPM will be an added advantage
  • As a Techno-commercial role, should have a holistic knowledge of manufacturing processes along with commercial part. This will help in taking timely decisions.
  • Monitor OTIF (On Time Delivery in Full) of Material / Sub-Assemblies, to ensure Inventory Levels are as per laid down Norms without affecting Inhouse Production.
  • Need excellent Communication Skills, to co-ordinate effectively with Supplier & Factory.

Functional Competencies:

  • Overall manufacturing Processes Knowledge & eagerness to learn new technology.
  • Knowledge of SAP , DWM and other lean management tools

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Result orientation, Team work
  • Strong communication - written and verbal
